Minecraft utility for exploring your world

If you've played the indie hit Minecraft, you'll know that one of the toughest parts is not having a map, and not knowing where you might find certain materials when you're mining. MineViewer gives you a map and allows you to search quickly for the materials you want.

MineViewer has to be run when Minecraft is open, and you'll quickly see a part of your world appear. You can look around with the keyboard and map, and even fly underground and see where caves are. This is great if you've gotten lost in the game! Alternative map viewer Eihort doesn't need Minecraft to be running.

Perhaps the most useful tool in MineViewer is viewing slices. Click on any plane, then use your mouse to roll through the layers of your world. With a simple color scheme for block types, you can quickly see the location of that obsidian or whatever you're looking for. You will never have to mine 'blind' again, thanks to MineViewer! Save your game while in the Nether world, and you can also explore down there in the same way.

MineViewer lets you find your way back home when you're lost, and locate those rare blocks with ease!
